Creative Inspiration: Jaesyn Burke Sunglasses

Sunglasses by Jaesyn Burke

When someone sees the world through rose-colored glasses, that means they see the world in an optimistic, positive light.

Through his eyewear, Jaesyn Burke offers us a new way to see the world through rose-colored glasses (literally).  Where most saw an opportunity to design a utilitarian object to shield the eyes from the sun, Jaesyn Burke saw an opportunity to create art.  With each pair of glasses he develops, he pushes the envelope of eyewear.

F. Scott Fitzgerald once said, “”Here’s to alcohol, the rose colored glasses of life.”  Clearly, he never had the opportunity to experience a pair of Jaesyn Burke originals.  Otherwise, the alcohol would have been optional.

In your writing, you have the opportunity to re-imagine everyday objects.  Transform the normal into the supernormal ala Jaesyn Burke and you’ll have your audience seeing the world through your rose-colored glasses.
